Description
Some coffees ask you to meet them on their terms. True Chameleon moves with you. Red berry notes layer into smooth chocolate with a clean, vibrant finish. Layered enough to slow down for, easy enough to grab on the way out. Grown in Jardín, Colombia, through long-term partnerships with grower families who earn well above fair trade rates. Roasted medium to stay balanced and expressive across brew methods and times of day. Pour-over lifts the brightness. French press deepens the body. The one you reach for whenever, however.
Tasting Notes
Red Berries · Chocolate · Sugar Cane
Origin Callout
Jardín sits in the Andes of Antioquia at altitudes between 1,500 and 2,000 meters, volcanic soil, sharp seasons, and the natural sweetness that comes from slow ripening at elevation. That sugar cane finish is not added. It grows that way. Rainblow has worked alongside our partner families here for eight years, in relationships built on long-term commitment and compensation well above industry standards.
Brew Guide
Pour-over
Grind medium-fine. Water at 200°F. Brew 3 to 4 minutes. The red berry notes come through clean and bright.
French Press
Grind coarse. Water at 200°F. Steep 4 minutes, press slowly. The chocolate deepens and the sugar cane sweetness rounds out the body.
Shared pot
Make a full pot. True Chameleon scales for two, for four, for whoever is still at the table. Share it with a friend, a partner, someone you want to talk to for a while. Some cups are just for you. This one is better when it isn’t.
