Origin Callout
Jericó sits in southwestern Antioquia at high altitude, steep slopes, rich volcanic soil, and cool nights that slow the ripening process and concentrate natural sugars in the bean. That density is what makes it exceptional for espresso. Grown by partner families in long-term relationships paid well above fair trade rates, and selected specifically for the syrupy body and sweetness that a great espresso shot demands.
Brew Guide
Espresso machine
Dose 18 to 20g. Extraction 25 to 30 seconds. The dark chocolate and roasted almond come through in a dense, syrupy shot with a long finish.
Moka pot
Grind medium-fine. Fill the basket level, no tamping. Medium heat. Deep Octopus holds its character beautifully through stovetop brewing.
Milk-based drinks
Latte, cortado, cappuccino — this coffee was built to anchor milk. The roasted almond and chocolate stay present and the body holds its shape.
